How MiuNail Started
MiuNail began with a simple intention—to protect the natural nails of someone I love while still honouring the beauty she enjoys. During one salon visit, I saw how the routine looked polished but felt far from gentle: drilling that thinned her nails, fine dust and adhesive fumes in the air, and extensions that stayed on for weeks even when work called for shorter, quieter nails. As they grew out, the exposed base looked uneven, and removal often left her natural nails weaker than before.
Press-ons changed everything. No drilling, no dust, no fumes. She could switch styles for social moments, remove them for work, and let her natural nails rest whenever they needed to. But most press-ons felt mass-produced—simple shapes, flat finishes, and none of the thoughtful artistry she loved in salon work. The freedom was there, but the refinement wasn’t.
So I set out to create what she truly deserved. Designed in Canada and finished in small batches, each MiuNail set is crafted with skin-safe, salon-grade materials to be expressive, comfortable, and gentle on natural nails—beauty that fits the way real life moves.
